Your B12 level is obviously low so I wonder if you have problem with B12 absorption or because of your diet low in B12. If the cause is dietary, you can take the B-complex preparation with 100 mcg of B12. If you have problem with B12 absorption and you have signs of vitamin B12 deficiency such as anemia or neuropathy, you have to take monthly B12 injection or sublingual B12.

The cause of the B12 deficiency may need to be pursued if your levels do not start to rise. As mentioned, you will be better assured of successful intervention by monthly injection which would be your best choice to start. If you are committed to the oral approach, make certain that your brand says "USP" on the label, but regardless, have your physician watch this.
