: Your doctor is exactly right. Ureaplasma is a normal bacteria in the genital tract; at any time, 50% of people your age test positive. It is unfortunate that it is included in "comprehensive" STI testing panels. Probably the ureaplasma is unrelated to your continued vaginal bleeding.
