A member asked:

How can i know by ultrasound if what i had was my normal period or an implantation bleeding?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ultrasound is not an appropriate test to differentiate the two. Implantation bleeding is usually just spotting and not bleeding like a period requiring pads or tampons. You may do a pregnancy test in three weeks, if the result is negative, repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. Wish you good health!
