See what happens: It is not uncommon for someone to have an irregular period occasionally. This usually self corrects over the next few cycles. Although the sonogram was normal other causes should be investigated by your doctor. Hormonal imbalance, cervical polyps, infections, STDS, thyroid disease and others are possible.
