A member asked:

I have had a cold that has gotten better over the last 7-10 days. i do sinus rinses to help get the green/yellow stuff out. i am noticing that my lymph nodes in my neck are a little sore. is that normal after a cold? i don't remember ever having it?

Yes, you likely have a reactive lymph node due to viral infection as the cause of your rhinosinusitis. Observe that node for now, it should get smaller and not palpable in less than 2 weeks. Some reactive lymph node may persist for a long time though, especially the ones behind the ear or neck. You should only concern if the node gets bigger.
