Regurgutation: This sounds like a form of acid reflux. Try to avoid caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, soda, chocolate. Don't lie down after eating. A trial of an over the counter acid reduction medication for 2 weeks would be a good trial to look for improvement. Keep a dietary log before you see your doc.

Acid Reflux Burning: While acid reflux is a common cause of nausea and a burning sensation in your mouth or tongue, it is not "normal". It only occurs when acid moves all the way up from the stomach into the mouth and throat. Try a liquid antacid first. If symptoms persist, try prilosec, available over the counter. If symptoms persist, go see your primary healthcare provider.
