Woke up this morning feeling fine. suddenly had discomfort in pit of stomach, increase saliva, bad nausea and gagging. no other symptoms. no fever. ?

Sudden GI symptoms.: This could be one of a few things. Could be the beginnings of a viral infection or food borne illness. Could be a gallbladder issue, like gallstones or infection. Could be gastritis from something other infection, like excessive alcohol intake. We’d need more information before we could hazard a guess, but if you’re really feeling sick maybe you should be seen locally by doctor.
