Neither the antigen test nor the PCR test look for the variants. If the rapid test comes back positive, you should isolate yourself.

None of the rapid tests currently available can tell you which variant you have. PCR tests, which are sent to a lab for analysis, can sometimes (depending on the lab) identify particular variants, such as Delta or Omicron. If you test positive on a screening test, it should be confirmed with a PCR test, and you should quarantine until you receive the results of the confirmatory test.
