Might be a local form of irritation or allergy. Use a mild soap and mild OTC cortsone cream for a few days.

Palm itching and irritation and burning can be caused most common from condition called Contact Dermatitis.Which means your hands came in contact with an irritant or something you are allergic to.It can be treated with local steroid cream if that is the case.Other causes are Atopic Dermatitis,Psoriasis and even Scabies.I suggest try Hydrocortisone1% cream twice a day.If no response see MD/ Dermato
