By UPTODATE: "patients who present after a known high-risk exposure to HIV (eg, sexual or percutaneous) should be tested for HIV infection and assessed for post-exposure antiretroviral therapy (ART). Such patients should then have follow-up testing over the course of four to six months (depending upon the type of test that is used)." 4th generation test (-) at 24 days is reassured but incomplete.

Wait for 6 weeks. A positive result will be conclusive but a negative one will not rule out HIV. For information in this topic, visit this site: HIV test window periods https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/hiv-testing/test-types.html
