A member asked:

After exposure 6 month hiv 1&2 antibody+p24 antigen test negative.8 month hiv1 rna qualitative pcr test &elisa antibody test negative.is it conclusive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your results rule out HIV infection.
