Bad smell of burning rubber in outside air. car window open while driving. closed asap but strong smell got in.opened again to ventilate but smell was still outside and inside .eventually eased while driving away from area. inhaling dangers? scared?

The lungs have a mechanical system to remove debris you encounter within & outside your home. Such encounters are not unusual & avoiding them is best when you have certain respiratory diseases. However, unless you are somehow prone to problems the effect of this should be minimal & fade within days.
