A member asked:

I had an exposure unprotected vaginal. i took a 4th gen ag/ab test at 19days, 6 weeks, and 6 months. all were negative. i would of stopped at 6 weeks but i've seen so many ranges on here..even up to a year. can i stop testing for this exposure now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes. Negative result with 4th gen test at 6 months after exposure rules out HIV infection from that exposure. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get Flu and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!
