A member asked:

Is a sole fourth generation ab/ag test conclusive at 28 days following unprotected vaginal intercouse, as the female? any follow-up testing needed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not conclusive: If it is positive you need to have it confirmed by western blot test. If duo test is negative you need to have the test repeated 3 months after exposure so the person have enough time to develop antibodies to hiv virus.
