Grade 2 diastolic dysfunction denotes a moderate degree of stiffness of the left ventricle. This could have been residua of some heart muscle inflammation incurred during the covid infection. It's best to have a thorough evaluation by a cardiologist for accurate diagnosis, advice & follow-up.

I have long covid and had an echo done. 3 things pop up for me. They are Diastolic dysfunction, Grade II (pseudonormalization pattern). There is trace mitral regurgitation. & Trivial pericardial effusion. What would these suggest?
