Diastolic dysfunction is a commonly (over)diagnosed "abnormality in echocardiograms. If you do not have hypertension or other abnormality causing left ventricular hypertrophy it is hard to imagine why you would have grade II diastolic dysfunction which is an abnormality of heart muscle relaxation. Please discuss this with your cardiologist and if there is any question, get a second opinion.
