I woke up yesterday with a fever (that was high, at 39.4) and headache, i also felt that my throat was sore. i took co-amoxiclav every 8 hours (at 10 pm) and since then my body temp is at 37.2 and i have no headache. am i not at risk for meningitis?

Yes especially if it was a virus (most likely: and not a bacteria. Discuss with your team. But risk very low.
