Depending on your diet, normal stool can be brown, light brown, yellow or green. All of these are normal. If you are really concerned, keep a food diary and see if you can identify the food or supplement that causes the yellow color. Yellow or orange poop can result from meals with orange/yellow vegetables, like carrots, bell peppers, or eating nondigestible items that are these colors.
