It's not uncommon: to see traces of clear, white and/or yellow mucus in stool. The intestines use this jelly like goo to act as a lubricant, which can make moving things along the digestive tract much smoother. Certain things like constipation or diarrhea can cause the yellow or white mucus in stool to be more obvious and apparent. Bloody mucus in stool may be due to more serious condition.

Most likely: Short of having any other symptoms, this alone should not be an issue. However, any accompanying symptoms like blood in stool, abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation, inability to pass stool, abdominal fullness/bloating, nausea/vomiting should be evaluated by the doc.
