How long does it take to get liver enzymes back to normal from taking any medicine ? had ultrasound was normal , no sign of fatty liver or anything ,so he thinks maybe few excedrine week before blood test? had baby 2.5 months ago and not obese?

Congratulations on your baby! Usually liver enzymes return to normal within a couple weeks of stopping the medication, if that is the cause. If the enzymes remain elevated your doctor will search for other causes of elevated liver enzymes.

Yes, Excedrin contains acetaminophen and having your liver enzymes rechecked while not taking any should answer the question. If liver enzymes remain high workup for a possible cause should continue.
