I have a mole on my breast that ive had all my life and i dont have one like it. yesterday i went to the clinic and was told it checks all the abcd boxes and i need a biopsy done on it can a life long mole turn cancerous??? im so nervous?

You may wish to get a second opinion from a dermatologist. A biopsy is not the optimum approach because if the lesion is suspected to be malignant, it should be excised in its entirety. Wish you good health!

A mole can become cancerous if irritated or too much exposure to sun. A biopsy is always the best way to find out if any mole or lesion on your body is precancerous or cancerous. Knowing is better than worrying.
