Do not see any rationale to avoid playing soccer, based upon your myopia. Yes, you could have contact and get injured, but that would be true for any player. Just make sure you address any future injuries in a timely fashion.

Contact lenses are no problem. Someone who is a moderate to high myope usually has retinal thinning which makes them more susceptible to retinal detachments. Therefore you, and probably everyone, should avoid heading the ball or other trauma
