I am 27 weeks pregnant and was diagnosed with idiopathic intercranial hypertension in january of 2020. i have not had anymore symptoms since march of 2020. i was wondering if it is okay if i get an epidural during labor or will it cause complications?

From your description, sounds like events causing increased intracranial pressure reversed, or resolved, and your difficulties were transitory. There would be no potential unusual complications from an epidural injection during labor, and would not be expected to adversely affect cerebrospinal fluid dynamics.
