I had the troponin high sensitivity test done last week and i just saw my value was <6. they only ran it once with the twave abnormality and sent me home. what does the <6 mean, big picture? is that abnormal??? thanks?

I do not know the normals for you lab but low is better than not low.. Discuss with your Dr.

Result within normal range. T wave abnormality is non-specific and may be seen with and without a cardiac problem. What you need is a good history and detailed examination to interpret your symptoms. Unfortunately, the results your troponin test and its significance AS APPLIED TO YOU were apparently not explained to you. A single negative troponin should not be the sole basis to make a decision.
