Healing hands needed: Trying to get over a traumatic event on your own may not be the right thing to do and may in ffact make things worse in the long term. Not only is this fact proven by western medicine, but also known to many cultures & religions for 1000's of years. Professional counseling is always advised in this setting. Local support groups can also be tried at first if financial limitations are limited.

Trauma: It is very important to talk about the events in question with people who you are close to. Keeping such trauma to yourself will worsen your worries over time. If confiding in friends over time does not allow your anxiety to lessen consult a mental health professional who specializes in treating post traumatic stress disorder. Best wishes.
