Probably a hiatal or abdominal hernia, right? Travel by any means (car, air, boat, train) shouldn't be a problem.

Hernia is not a formal contraindication to road travel. Details matter otherwise, for example if recently operated on, the surgeon’s opinion will be best to place things in context
