If the pain is as severe as you describe, it would be appropriate to go to an ER. If you are same person who described yourself as diabetic, it is imperative that you see a doctor to rule out infection.

Your pain description was not enough information. I do agree if you are having as much pain as you describe i would seek medical care. I have seen patients with plantar fasciitis have involvement with the tibial nerve that travels the posterior leg. If that is your diagnosis then I would seek care with a podiatrist. Custom orthotics may be needed or surgical intervention
