Oral and injectable medicaments are used to treat (reduce sweling) stridor, but you should be asking the treating physician these questions directly. Laryngeal stridor can be a life threatening condition

If the stridor is mild, cool air mist may be helpful. Please discuss with his physician. Steroids may be used for more moderate cases.
