My sons tsh is normal 1.04 but he has mildly elevated total t3 and t4, 230 and 14.1 respectively he is 8 years old.does he have euthyroid hyperthyroxinemia? what should be done? should we check free t3 t4? has no symptoms or weight loss?

What was the reason he have thyroid panel checked at 8 years old? The normal range of TSH for children varies a lot by different laboratories in the world. Was his TSH reportedly in normal range? Normal TSH level rules out thyroid dysfunction provided there is no problem with pituitary gland.
