Hi, my vit d level is always at 25 i take 6000iu vitamin a day, lot's of fruits and vegetables and my body doesn't absorb. i have ibs and i like to know what other treatment is available? it's effecting my bones,mood and hair loss. thanks?

You are within. Or Al limits of vitamin D. Fatty fish also contains vitamin D and one makes it with sun exposure, which should be limited.

A malabsorptive condition should be considered, specifically in the context of IBS, as celiac disease like disease would behave in this manner. Your vit D doses are high enough to keep your level over 30. Best would be to review with your gastroenterologist who diagnosed and made recommendations for your irritable bowel.
