My kidney doctor told me not to take calcium, im in stage 3. i had just done a life line screening and the results said i had some brittle bones going on. i dont take calcium but i take a multi cause of my bones,what can i take without affecting it?

mild /moderate exercise, follow diet recommended by your MD. All other meds should be taken under care of your Nephrologist make her/him aware of your tests and they will advise you further .

Calcium, bones and kidney disease are complex issues. Discuss with your team and you may wish to invest $20 and read all about it in uptodate.com. Lifeline can be dangerous. Screening can lead to surgery and the risk of some of the surgery is greater than having no surgery.
