Yes some do. What is your HbA1c now. Best way to Dx. If it is not high you do not have diabetes.

Diagnosis of any disease/condition is not made solely on one lab test. If you have concern, discuss your lab test(s), full medical history, family history, with your General Physician. If there are areas of concern/test results/ signs & symptoms, referral to an Endocrinologist may be in order. Sometimes test results are wrong, and need repeating. Talk your health concerns over with your Physician
