My kid had fever (38.5) and blood work says: wbc 16.82ul,neutrophil 13.3ul, monocytes 1.36ul,crp 2.2mg/dl.she was prescribed antibiotics but starting today she feels good and have not had fever for all day. could that be covid or a sign more serious?

From your description it is unlikely she had COVID. I am glad she is better. Stay under the care of her MD

Presumably your doctor thought your child had a bacterial infection and the labs are compatible with that. It's good that she's better which is what one would expect. COVID-19 is a virus and wouldn't be expected to respond to antibiotics. However, children don't get very ill with COVID-19 and they generally recover rapidly. Only a test could provide a definitive answer.
