Consumption of honey is allowed to children over 1 year of age, however, ingestion of Cheerios or Graham crackers can lead to choking in younger children under 2 years.

Honey after age one is the current recommendation. Think about only feeding your child whole foods instead of using processed foods. Processed foods come in packages with labels like the ones you mention. Many health conditions in later life are associated with poor diet and that is what most Americans eat without realizing the dangers.
