Honey for cough: There is no special brand or type of honey that is specifically to be used for the treatment of cough. Any reputable brand can be used for children over the age of one year. Uncooked honey is not to be given to infants < 1 year of age due to a very small risk of infant botulism noted years ago in specific batches of commercially available honey.
