Unless you manifest allergic symptoms like hives or angioedema( (ex: lip swelling) or have kidney disease or elevated potassium level or take potassium sparing meds, I don't think you should be apprehensive about taking lisinopril which is the most frequently prescribed anti hypertensive in the world. 10 mgs is a low dose.
