Yes: Those are alarmingly high readings. Many of the machines in stores are not always accurate though. Most medical offices,dental offices (call first) and in the US most fire departments will be glad to take your BP reading for you without an appointment or a charge. The readings you report, if accurate, indicate you are at a very high risk for stroke and need immediate attention
