You should get a sleep study to see if you have obstructive sleep apnea, especially if you have other symptoms like frequent nighttime awakenings, daytime sleepiness, etc. If you have sleep apnea, it is important to treat it since untreated sleep apnea can lead to serious heart issues, low oxygen levels, etc. So, see your doctor and get a sleep study ASAP!
