A 23-year-old female asked:

Months ago derm told me that it would be good if i use proscutan cream (d-vitam supplemented cream) for psoriasis. now, he told me not to start using it and use diprosal instead. as i searched, diprosal is steroid. so, it is stronger than proscutan?

Yes, steroid cream or ointment is used to treat psoriasis, not vitamin D cream.

Vitamin D cream by itself has little effect on Psoriasis. However , combining it with a topical steroid cream or ointment is effective
