It is more important to know why you are using the Tylenol. At that age you do not want to give Tylenol for fever without finding the cause of the fever. The Tylenol bottle has instructions based on age and weight the number of drops you could use, but you should have your baby evaluated by a medical professional is more important at that age because 'a stitch in time' is essential in infants.

Tylenol is safe to give to infants if deemed necessary. Also fever is a temp of 100.4 degrees F and up. A lot of times parents consider 99 as a fever & have been treating their babies unnecessarily. The manufacturer has now included the dosing chart on the box and provided a dropper to measure exact dose as recommended. Do not substitute with other medicine dropper as the dose may not be the same.
