A member asked:

I learned i've had exposure (weeks/months?) to black mold in my home. could this possibly account for an increase in hs-crp result i happened to have recently? 0.3 to 10.0 a recent cardiac workup showed no cardiac issues (fyi) ?

Black mold will cause lung issues and not cardiac ones. A single exposure is rarely a cause of active lung / bronchus infection. It might be oneoff report so have it repeated

Not likely but ask local Drs as "mold" varies by geography.
