3 mgs of prednisone is a very low dose and ,in my opinion, has little impact on the immune system's ability to interfere with levaquin's potential side effects or it's efficacy against the bacteria causing cellulitis. I don't recommend stopping the prednisone. You may ask your physician or rheumatologist if he/she agrees.

A multitude of details will be needed for a firm recommendation, such as, duration of treatment for prednisone, previous experiences with levaquin as antibiotic, how severe the infection is and so on. I agree that the dose of Prednisone is so low that it might not need to be adjusted. Having your rheumatologist’s opinion will be best otherwise.
