Sinus bradycardia and sinus arrhythmia are both rather common in young healthy athletic adults. Unless your heart rate drops into the 40's causing lightheadedness, weakness & exercise intolerance, I don't think you require a permanent pacemaker or any treatments. On the other hand an outpatient heart monitor would shed more light on your palpitations & bradycardia & exercise heart rates.
