Listeriosis does not pass through breast milk. So you’re safe to resume your normal diet

The general consensus is that Listeria bacteria do NOT pass through breast milk, so you do not need to limit your diet to prevent this infection. Congratulations on your new baby and thanks for feeding your human baby human milk!
