Taking antiretroviral drugs intermittently indeed can result in HIV resistance to those and related drugs. However, any single episode of missing treatment for a few days is unlikely to cause a problem. But resume treatment ASAP, and also plan on establishing HIV medical care soon in your new location, then discuss with your doctor. Good luck.
