If you are hiv positive and want to have a child and not yet on the treatment wat steps to take?

Get treated/basics: Your post does not reveal your gender, so the response will focus on females. Aggressive treatment could reduce your viral load to a minimal level. If you then conceive & keep your load minimal with continued treatment you can reduce the risk baby will be infected from 40% down to less than 5%. The baby should receive medication until studies show it is free from infection.
