HIV does not survive on inanimate objects, so HIV transmission is not possible in above described circumstances. You may suffer from HIV related anxiety due to a previous experience and further discussing with your primary care doc should help in clarifying.

Not likely. I am not certain what "ripped cuticles" means in El Monte. If ripped open and bleeding and you got some of the dried blood in the rips then yes if the dried blood had HIV in it and you got enough in your rip you could be at risk. If by ripped you mean well muscled I have never hear this applied to cuticles. Show and discuss with local health care folks. Washed hands helps prevent
