I went to get my nails done the other day. when they were using the electric drill on my nails they cut me a few times. is there any possibility of catching hiv or hepatitis from this? im not sure if they sterilize their tools properly?

Nobody has ever been known to be infected with HIV or viral hepatitis during a manicure or similar contact. If it occurs, it is so rare that any risk can be ignored. Don't worry about it.
