Won't happen: Early in the epidemic, we men worried about catching it at the barber's. That didn't happen either. Relax. The HIV virus is wimpy and its ability to survive outside the body seems basically zero. Even if there's warm, fresh blood on a needle that's jabbed into the skin, the risk is only 1 in 300. If you have no reason to think that needle was recently in the vein of an AIDS patient, relax.
