38 yr female i have been offered a flu and pneumonia vaccine by gps nurse the pneumonia is a one off vaccination and it is due to my thalassamia minor / trait, is it really necessary with this condition at 38yrs?appreciate any ideas on this please?

A COVID-19, flu and pneumonia vaccine are effective in preventing disease. If they follow ACIP guidelines, or if you have a history of respiratory problems, it is best to have the pneumonia vaccine as well Discuss any allergies with your physician.
